How to Download Songs, Cds or other files
Downloading
- For single song download
- Right click on "click here" link and select "Save Link as" or "Save Target as" depending open your browser.
- Enter the location where you want to save your file download.
- For complete CD download
- Right click on the zip file name.
- Select "Save Link as" or "Save Target as" depending open your browser.
- Select the folder location where you wish to save the song files. It is best to create a sub-folder within your main music folder named for the CD to make it easier to find your music files. (i.e. "My Music/Cooks Point Demos")
- To unzip the file on a PC, right-click the file, (i.e. cpdemos.zip) then click Extract on the shortcut menu. On a Mac double clicking the zip file should unzip the file to it’s own directory.
- In some instances a file compression utility (i.e. winzip, stuffit, etc) may open. If so unzip the files by clicking the "Extract" or "Unzip". Select your folder in which you wish to save these mp3 files.
Getting you files into your MS Media Player or iTunes
- Open Media Player or iTunes
- Find the folder where you saved your mp3 files (i.e. "My Music/Cooks Point Demos")
- Drag and drop this complete folder into MS Media Player or iTunes
- You should be able to sort by album, or do a search for the CD name or individual song name.
